Caroline Neas

Executive Director of the Académie de la transformation numérique at Université Laval

Caroline Neas is Executive Director of the Académie de la transformation numérique (ATN) at Université Laval.

In this role, she leads the strategic vision, development and outreach of the ATN, whose mission is to support organizations through their digital evolution with training, advisory services and high-value initiatives.

With training in law and administration, Caroline Neas has more than 25 years of experience in management and executive roles, mainly at Université Laval. There she distinguished herself through her structuring contribution to the development of executive education, both by designing programs adapted to the needs of organizations and by building lasting partnerships with socioeconomic and institutional communities.

Her career reflects a recognized ability to combine rigour, strategic vision and a sense of innovation. Driven by a deeply collaborative and human-centred approach, she places great importance on the quality of professional relationships and on listening to the needs of the organizations she supports. She maintains close ties with the public service, which allows her to ground the ATN offering in field realities and to adjust training content and formats continuously. Her mobilizing leadership and her spirit of innovation strengthen the relevance and impact of the ATN interventions, while fostering teamwork, engagement and talent development within her organization.

As part of the AI Year at Université Laval, she guided strategic reflections on the uses, the ethical issues and the organizational repercussions of digital technology and artificial intelligence. Under her impetus, a free AI literacy self-assessment tool was deployed, concretely helping to raise awareness and equip organizations facing the transformations brought by AI.
