About This Policy

This privacy policy describes how LouiseB.AI INC (hereinafter "we") accesses, collects, stores, uses, and shares personal information when you use catalysecollective.com or otherwise engage with us through our communications and activities. It applies to all interactions related to Catalyse Collective, the August 28, 2026 event in Montréal. By visiting this site, you consent to the practices described herein, within the limits set out by Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, European Union).

What Information Do We Collect?

Information You Provide

We collect the personal information you voluntarily provide to us, for example when you subscribe to the newsletter, purchase a ticket for the event, or contact us. Depending on the context, this information may include: your name, email address, phone number, job title, contact preferences, and your billing address when purchasing a ticket.

Sensitive information: we do not process any sensitive information (for example, racial or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs).

Payment data: if you purchase a ticket, the data necessary to process your payment is collected and stored directly by our payment providers, Stripe (used by the Swapcard ticketing platform) and QuickBooks. Automatically Collected Information

When you browse the site, certain technical information may be collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type and characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URL, pages viewed, and usage data. This information is primarily used to ensure the security and proper operation of the site, as well as for our internal analytics.

This analytics collection (Google Analytics 4) and tracking (LeadConnector) only takes place AFTER you consent to non-essential cookies. No data is collected by these tools before you have granted your consent.

Processing Purposes

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

Manage newsletter subscriptions and send you our communications; process event registrations and payments; respond to your inquiries and provide support; send you administrative information (changes to our terms or policies); measure site audience and improve it; understand the effectiveness of our communications and campaigns; ensure site security and prevent fraud; comply with our legal obligations.

What Legal Bases Do We Rely On?

We only process your personal information when we have a valid legal reason to do so.

In Québec and Canada: we process your information with your consent (express or, in some cases, implied). You can withdraw your consent at any time. In exceptional cases provided for by law, we may process certain information without consent, for example to prevent fraud or to meet a legal obligation.

In the European Union and United Kingdom (GDPR): depending on the case, we rely on your consent, on the performance of a contract (for example processing a ticket purchase), on our legitimate interests (measuring and improving the site, supporting our communications, preventing fraud), or on our legal obligations.

With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

We share certain information with the following service providers, strictly limited to what is necessary for their respective purposes:

• Cyberimpact (newsletter management, servers in Canada): receives your name and email address when you subscribe.
• Swapcard (event ticketing): receives the information necessary to process your registration. Swapcard uses Stripe to process payments.
• Stripe and QuickBooks (payment processing and accounting): receive the data necessary to process and record your payment. Your payment data is handled and stored by these providers.
• Google LLC / Google Analytics 4 (audience measurement, United States): receives pseudonymous usage data, only after your consent.
• LeadConnector / HighLevel (marketing tracking and attribution, United States): receives behavioral data, only after your consent.
• Google Maps (interactive venue map, United States): loaded only if you click to display the map.
• Montserrat and Allura fonts: self-hosted on our server. No data is transmitted to Google Fonts or any third party when loading fonts.

Business transfers: we may share or transfer your information in connection with a merger, sale of assets, or acquisition. We would inform you should this occur.

Transfers Outside Québec

Some of our service providers are based outside Québec, including in the United States (Google LLC, LeadConnector / HighLevel, Stripe, Intuit / QuickBooks). Personal information may be transferred to them for the purposes described above. We take reasonable steps to ensure they provide an adequate level of protection, including reviewing their privacy policies and contractual commitments.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the site, remember your consent choice, and, after your agreement, measure audience and track traffic sources. Non-essential cookies are disabled by default and are only activated after your explicit consent.

How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (notably tax or accounting obligations). As a guide: newsletter data is retained until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe; analytics data (GA4) according to Google Analytics default policy (13 months); ticketing and payment data in accordance with applicable legal and contractual obligations; your cookie consent choice remains in your browser until you delete it. When we no longer have a legitimate reason to keep your information, we delete or anonymize it.

How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no transmission over the Internet or storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We therefore cannot absolutely guarantee that an unauthorized party could never defeat our measures. Transmission of information to and from the site is at your own risk; we recommend accessing it in a secure environment.

Do We Collect Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly collect information from persons under 18 years of age, nor do we market to them. By using the site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, or the parent or guardian of a minor whose use you authorize. If we learn that information has been collected from a minor, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe this has happened, please write to us at info@catalysecollective.com.

Your Rights

Under Law 25 and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right of access to your information; right of rectification; right to withdraw consent (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing); right to de-indexing (cessation of dissemination); right to portability (in force since September 22, 2024, Law 25 phase 3); right to unsubscribe from our communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in each of our emails.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of non-essential tracking. Browser "Do Not Track" features are not yet standardized; we rely on your consent choice and on the GPC signal.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time in order to remain compliant with applicable laws.
